Vanessa Baker
Clinical Psychologist | Clinical Supervisor | Co-Director

Vanessa is a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her approach can be described as warm, empathic, and collaborative.

 

Vanessa has worked across both the private and public health sectors, including the Child & Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), where she worked with young people and their families with moderate to severe mental health issues. 

 

Vanessa works with a wide range of presenting issues with particular interest in anxiety, OCD, trauma, autism and ADHD. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities as shown below. Vanessa completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class I) at the University of Sydney, and a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra. She is an accredited schema therapist with the ISST. 

 

In addition to her clinical work, Vanessa has worked within research teams at School of Psychiatry, University of New South Wales and Academic Unit of Child Psychiatry, South Western Sydney Local Health District. She is also a board-approved supervisor for clinical psychology registrars.
