Vanessa is a Clinical Psychologist who completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class I) at the University of Sydney, and a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra. Since 2014, she has worked with young people and families across a variety of private and public settings. Vanessa's most recent role was with the Child & Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), which involved working with young people with severe and complex mental health concerns. Vanessa is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and PsyBA approved supervisor for clinical psychology registrars. Read More.
Katie is a Registered Psychologist & Clinical Psychology Registrar with experience working in a variety of public and private health settings with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. She has worked in both hospital and community settings with a wide range of presentations; and is experienced in both individual therapy and group facilitation. Katie completed a Bachelor of Psychology with first class honours at Macquarie University, and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the Australian Catholic University. She holds full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Read More.
Melinda is a Registered Psychologist with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, first as a teacher and then as a psychologist. Melinda has a special interest in developing warm therapeutic relationships with clients, teaching skills to better manage current stressors and empowering them to believe in and work towards positive change. Melinda has experience working with a wide range of presentations. In addition to her clinical experience, Melinda works with a research team at Charles Sturt University. Nicole is an intern psychologist, passionate about working with children and adolescents. She is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at Western Sydney University and holds provisional registration with AHPRA. Nicole’s clinical experience includes working at the Western Sydney University Psychology Clinic as a provisional psychologist, taking on clients of all ages for both testing and therapy. Client Care Coordinator
Adeline is our Client Care Coordinator and works with us on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is working towards becoming a Clinical Psychologist. In addition to her role at Kids in Mind Psychology, Adeline tutors students of varying ages. She has previously held a number of voluntary roles working with children through dance, singing, tutoring and nannying. Adeline has a current WWCC.
