Melinda is a Registered Psychologist with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, first as a teacher and then as a psychologist. Melinda has a special interest in developing warm therapeutic relationships with clients, teaching skills to better manage current stressors and empowering them to believe in and work towards positive change. 

​Melinda has experience working with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress management, grief and loss, anger management, social and behavioural difficulties, perfectionism/procrastination and more. She also has experience and a considerable interest in psychometric assessment, including cognitive, learning, behavioural, and personality testing.


In addition to her clinical experience, Melinda works with a research team at Charles Sturt University. Her research interests include how girls compete against one another, how boys compete against one another and how adults choose long term partners.
